Canon U.S.A. support the availability of "MEAP for PaperCut" across the
Americas region via the Canon online Content Delivery System (CDS).

This "MEAP for PaperCut" solution available on the CDS consists of two parts; 

    a) The MEAP .jar file and; 
    b) The MEAP license, which is to be installed onto selected
       imageRUNNER ADVANCE models to licence the MEAP .jar file.

In addition to the MEAP, the PaperCut MF software, including the MFD embedded
device licence for Canon MEAP devices and other necessary items needed for
installation on the PaperCut server, must be purchased through a PaperCut
Authorized Solution Center (PaperCut ASC).

How you receive the item
Upon purchase of the product, the dealer will receive a License Access Number
(LAN) electronically via email (e-LAN). The LAN is used for downloading and
installing the application files from the Canon online CDS (Content Delivery
System) to the targeted MFD.


Who can provide the solution
Canon dealers will be eligible to sell "MEAP for PaperCut" upon completion of
the imageRUNNER ADVANCE service training course. If a dealer has already been
authorized to sell imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices, no additional training is
required. 


Support process 
Canon will support "MEAP for PaperCut" component installations. 
All PaperCut software and/or other necessary PaperCut items needed for
installation on the PaperCut server will be supported for the customer by the
Canon dealer, and their chosen PaperCut ASC.


Trials and NFR licenses
While the core PaperCut solution is available to trial for 40 days, and an NFR
showroom licence available for resellers, Canon cannot offer NFR or Trial
versions of MEAP for PaperCut. Please contact your Canon USA representative
for further information.
